In accordance with its mandate to protect and promote the right to quality basic education, the Department of Education XI collects various data, including personal information, using different systems and is committed to ensure the free flow of information as required by the Freedom of Information Act (Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016) while protecting the confidentiality and privacy of this data as mandated by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
